Dropit is made by NYRAI LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains how Dropit handles your information. The short version: Dropit does not collect anything.

We collect no personal data

Dropit has no accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics or tracking. We do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information. We have no servers that receive your data.

How your files are handled

• Files you send travel directly between your own devices over your local Wi-Fi using an encrypted peer-to-peer connection (WebRTC/DTLS).
• Your files never pass through our servers and are never uploaded to the internet.
• Received files are saved on the receiving device (e.g., your Downloads folder). We never see them.

Local network and connections

The Dropit app runs a small server on your local network so your other devices can connect through a web browser. This stays on your network. To establish a direct connection, Dropit may use a public STUN server (for example, Google's stun.l.google.com) to discover how your devices can reach each other. STUN exchanges only the network connectivity information needed to connect; it does not transmit your files, messages, or identity to us, and we do not receive any data from it.

Chat and history

• Chat messages are relayed only across the devices currently connected on your local network and are not stored by us.
• Your transfer history is stored locally on your own device and can be cleared by you at any time.

Children

Dropit is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date.
